The International Virtual Competition of Creative & Innovative Idea (IVCCII) 2026 is an exciting event that celebrates and nurtures creativity and innovation. It provides a platform for participants from various backgrounds, including students and professionals, to showcase their ideas and engage in creative problem-solving.

To participate in IVCCII, individuals or teams can submit a 5-minute video presenting their innovative idea. The competition is open to the public, including students from schools, TVET institutions, and higher education, as well as professionals.

ELIGIBILITY
  1. For the student category, a minimum of two members, including a supervisor,  while a maximum of six members can form a team. Additional members can be added at a nominal fee of RM50/USD10 per member, up to a maximum of eight members.
  2. The professional category allows teams consisting of 1 (minimum) to 5 (maximum) members. Similar to the student category, additional members can be included for an extra fee of RM50/USD10 per member, up to a maximum of eight members.​
  3. Video presentation can be in English or Bahasa Melayu, and must have clear sound and brightness. All applications must be original works created by the participants themselves.

JUDGING CRITERIA

​Pitches will be judged by a panel of experts who have  experiences in innovation. To determine the winners, participants will be assessed based on these criteria:
​
  1. Brief Introduction/Background
  2. Problem Statement(s)
  3. Objectives
  4. Novelty/Uniqueness
  5. Benefits to intended users and society
  6. Commercialization potentials
  7. Awards/recognition received (if applicable)
  8. Research Evidence (if applicable)
  9. Professionalism in communication and creative presentation

We are looking for qualified and experienced professionals to join us as juries.
Requirements:
  1. Not participating as a contestant in IVCCII 2026
  2. Extensive experience in innovation competitions
ABSTRACT GUIDELINE 
​
  1. Abstract must be in one paragraph only consist of 200-250 words.
  2. Abstract must be written in English and free of spelling and grammar mistake.
  3. A good abstract contains a background, problem statement, objective, novelty, benefits to society etc.​​

​VIDEO GUIDELINE 
​
​The instructions for the video submission are:
  1. Video length must not exceed 5 minutes
  2. Please make sure that the video is:
    1. Clear sound and lighting
    2. Minimum background noise
    3. Start the video with IVCCII introduction video. You may download it here
  3. Please submit the Google Drive video link here. The steps below might help you if you are not familiar with G. Drive sharing. 
    1. Log in to Google Drive
    2. Upload the video
    3. Right-click > Get link > Anyone with the link can view > copy link
  4. Please note that we will upload the video on Creative and Innovative Idea YouTube channel. By participating in this competition, consent is given to the organiser to publish it online.
  5. You may participate in the YouTube Lucky Draw Contest. Please refer the contest poster below.

We recommend emphasizing the evaluation criteria. A clear and creative video presentation can leave a strong impression on the juries. Please ensure that the video duration does not exceed 5 minutes.
Please note that the registration is not a confirmation of your participation. An acceptance letter will be emailed in 1-2 working days. Please resubmit if you do not received any feedback in a week (please check the spam folder too). 
  1. Registration form must be submitted no later than May 08, 2026 with payment and video link submission.
